First Hun army finished

So most of the army on display.  This is what I fought with over the weekend when they made their debut in an Impetus competition at Cancon - Australia's largest convention.

There were just 8 of us in the Impetus comp and a great time was had by all.

Like all new armies they did not cover themselves in glory - let's just say I won the Encouragement award.

The army is from the Impetus beta lists is made up of Huns and some Goth allies.

There are two more pieces that I used on the weekend but need to do a bit more to - one because of injury and one to add a few more items to the baggage base.

  1. A great looking army. Did you use decals on the shields?

    1. I certainly did - sanity has its limits.

They are LBMS - a little different from any decal I have used before but after the first one, they flowed pretty smoothly.

    2. Did you weather the decals or did they come looking battleworn?

    3. They are just as they come with sword marks and some wear. All I added was the rim touchup, painted the boss and varnished.

      I like them very much.

    2. Gosh Foundry- I recognise them, now! I was talking to Keith at Aventine yesterday, and he expects to have some nomads coming out in a month or so, which I'm looking forward to.
