Finally managed to get some of the backlog on my desk finished. I've been working on it in fits and starts for most of this year and really don't have too much to show for the time. But in any case I will share the stuff finished over the next few posts.
First up are three bases of Numidian Cavalry for the growing Punic Wars collection. This is one bag of plastic Victrix minis. I already have seven bases of metals and in look I cannot tell them apart. Obviously the weight is a give away. I have one more bag to go of these and that will be enough cavalry to make any army feel like a pin cushion.
They look great! Does Victrix provide the standards?
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot Scott.
DeleteYes everything you see is from victrix n the pack.

Good to see you back at the painting desk!
ReplyDeleteJonathan thanks for the good wishes. Problem is I’ve sat here a lot over the past few months but got very little done. Too much indecision.

These look fantastic - I’ve always wanted some Numidians for this period.
ReplyDeleteThanks Carlo. They are nice and very effective on the field. But the best bit is they are super quick to paint as they are so simple :)

Lovely looking light cavalry!

And they are effective - at least were in Impetus. Their teeth have been blunted a little in Basic Impetus.
