This has sat among the detritus on the desk with a basic basecoat for months. Took to it with a fury in the past few days and ended up with this. Vallejo basecoats and drybrush, oil washes and pigments.
Also quite happy with my first attempt at a verdigris roof
Looks excellent! Is it scratchbuilt, or a kit?
ReplyDeleteIt is a resin model from Totsl Batte Miniatures - they Mae some very nice things.
ReplyDeleteLovely. The verdigris roof has come out well.

That's a lovely piece Rich and excellent paint job. What scale is it? I'll be looking for a good few 20mm / 25mm scale buildings myself soon.
ReplyDeletePaul - It is 20mm. Depeding on what style of building you want there are some great ones out there - from Hovels, Sentry / Raventhorpe (WWII NWE), Grand Manner and these guys.
ReplyDeletelovely job on that I must say Rich!
ReplyDeletecheers

Thanks for the comments guys.
ReplyDeleteReckon I could improve by varying the colour on the stone and maybe a little less pigment on the base.
Nice piece right enough, worth getting it out of the debris pile.
