Italians v Burguandians

We had a great casual game recently with my Italians up against Richard's very nice looking Burgundians using 500 points with Impetus.

The photos are not too good as they were taken with an iphone into the light - but they're all I have got.

  1. Photos look great to me! Love the sight of Impetvs basing and especially with your Renaissance armies. Terrific!

I am slowly working on an Impetvs Renaissance force of my own.

    1. We think it is a great rule system. In fact, I'm off to play in a very large refight of Brettenfield in the TYW today using a beta set of his Baroque rules - the games we have played so far have been very good..

Look forward to seeing your figures on the table Jonathan.

    1. As they say in football ... the game was the winner on the day.

Actually, we both broke on the same move so it was technically a draw. It had been a hard fought slug fest. My pike blocks slowly grinding away, as well as trapping a cavalry unit. While on the other flank a unit of Richard's heavy cavalry rolled up a battle weakened set of my Gendarmes and then went onto more havoc in my light cavalry who were unable to evade.
